How to Apply for Dean’s Master’s Scholarship

The application process is a two-step procedure that must be completed in the correct order.

Step 1: Apply for a Faculty of Medicine Master's Programme
You must first apply for a place on an eligible Master's programme using Imperial College's online admissions system. It is not essential to have received an offer before applying for the scholarship, but the programme application must be submitted first.

Step 2: Complete the Scholarship Application Form
Complete the online scholarship application form in a single session. This form will automatically consider you for both the Dean’s Master’s and the Dr Jean Alero Thomas scholarships (where eligible). You will need to provide personal details, your programme title, and answers to four competency-based questions.

Step 3: Departmental and Faculty Review
Applications are initially reviewed by academic departments. A shortlist is then reviewed at the Faculty-level panel in June.

Step 4: Receive Outcome

Who Can Apply for Dean’s Master’s Scholarship

The Dean's Master's and Dr Jean Alero Thomas scholarships are open to all students who apply to study a full-time or part-time Faculty of Medicine  (or PG Cert for a course where that is the only route to the higher degree) at Imperial College London, starting in the following October, prior to the scholarship deadline.
