Luleå University of Technology (LTU) offers two new scholarships for 2024 aimed at top academic students. This applies to the bachelor programme in Mineral Resource Engineering and the master programme in Electrification.

Students from a country outside the EU/EEA and Switzerland: Can apply for a scholarship that covers the tuition fee at LTU for the whole length of the programme, provided that the study results are satisfactory.
The scholarship does not cover living expenses.
The scholarships are awarded primarily on the basis of academic excellence and the selection process is undertaken in parallel with the admission process.
Only applicants who fulfil the admission requirements of the applied programme are eligible for a scholarship.

The application should provide the University with a Curriculum Vitae, a motivation letter and a letter of recommendation. The motivation letter and the letter of recommendation must contain no more than 600 words each.

The scholarship recipient will receive the offer in April. Luleå University of Technology (LTU) cannot give any preliminary notifications regarding whether a scholarship applicant will be offered the scholarship or not. However, all applicants for scholarships administrated by LTU will be notified when the selection is completed.
If you receive an offer, you have to confirm that you accept the scholarship offer by the deadline specified in the notification.
Failure to confirm before the deadline will result in the scholarship offer to be rescinded.
Please note, if you want to change or add, something to your application, you must submit a new application. In such a case, your previous application will be cancelled.
The scholarships are granted on the basis of academic excellence.
Priority is given to applicants that have chosen one of the programmes as their first choice.
